2024 Leadership Masterclass: Empowering Growth

In September 2024, the much-anticipated Leadership Masterclass returned for its second year, building on the success of its inaugural event in 2023. The Leadership Masterclass serves as a unique platform for emerging female leaders to not only gain the skills and confidence needed to elevate their leadership journeys, but also support and empower young women from developing nations who would not otherwise have the opportunity to learn.

Building on the momentum of its inaugural year, the 2024 Masterclass provided 48 participants from diverse organisations with a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and learn from some of the brightest minds in business today. The event’s key themes centred around career planning and progression. Amanda MacLean, CEO at The Gravitas Project, led a highly interactive career planning workshop. The day featured an impressive lineup of keynote and panel speakers, including Josephine Sukkar AM and Kristin Stubbins AM who shared valuable knowledge and personal stories around how they forged successful careers through internal promotion.

The Impact:

Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the event raised enough funds to send 40 girls to the Heartland Academy - Centre for Women for an entire year. This will provide these girls with the resources, mentorship, and educational support they need to excel and become future leaders themselves.

What Participants Are Saying:

The feedback from participants reflect the powerful impact of the event, with attendees walking away with new perspectives, actionable insights, and a renewed sense of purpose.

“It’s a stop, pause, and reflect day! Each one will walk away with something different depending on your role and where you are at.”

“Will push you to think outside of your everyday BAU.”

“It was a very empowering Masterclass and provided great information on how to emerge as a women leader.”

Looking Ahead:

The Level Up Leadership Masterclass 2024 was more than just a learning experience—it was a catalyst for growth, networking, and creating positive change. As we look ahead to future events, the continued success of this initiative will provide even more opportunities for women to thrive as leaders and make a lasting impact to disadvantaged communities.

Thank you to all who attended, supported, and contributed to making this event a success. We can’t wait to see how the leadership journeys of our participants unfold!
