Michelle Obama and Melinda Gates: We Can’t Ignore Adolescent Girls in Covid-19 Response

Melinda Gates and Michelle Obama recently wrote about the importance of addressing the needs of adolescent girls during the pandemic. Read the CNN article published August 9th.

Women for Change couldn’t agree more and is working to identify ways to support the tertiary students from Kakenya’s Center for Excellence while universities in Kenya are closed. Programs to engage the students while they are unable to study and retain their commitment to education are imperative.

Women for Change is asking for volunteers to participate in project teams to engage the students while fundraising to support their future education.
