The Women for Change committee is proud to announce that our Chair, Kristin Stubbins has been recognised in the Australia Day Honours List. Kristin has been awarded an AM in recognition of her significant service to the financial sector, women and the community.

Kristin sits on the Executive Board of PwC as the Managing Partner of Assurance but finds time in her busy work schedule to lead our committee which provides tertiary education opportunities for disadvantaged young women in Kenya, India and Nepal. Her dedication to the work of Women for Change, and the growth and development of women is a wonderful example to us all.

Kristin is a founding member of Women for Change and has Chaired the committee since 2018. During this time Women for Change has supported over 70 girls in Kenya to complete tertiary education and afforded 4 Kenyan girls the amazing opportunity to study on scholarship in Sydney at leading universities. Recently, Women for Change delivered on a commitment to fund an endowment to support future graduates of Kakenya’s Center for Excellence in West Kenya to complete tertiary studies.

Kristin continues to lead Women for Change as the committee broadens its focus to include fundraising to support girls education in India (Mumbai) and Nepal (Kathmandu).

Congratulations again, Kristin.
