On Thursday, 31 May, as part of Vivid Sydney, Waves II (an all-female celebration of music and art) supported Women for Change and the Kakenya Center for Excellence scholarship program.

The Dream Team, one of our Standing On Our Shoulders teams led the fundraising activity which included a portion of ticket sales and donations on the night. The generosity of spirit amongst the organisers of the event, the performers themselves, and the audience was amazing to see.

“The team had great fun in-between fundraising. The female acts performing at the event were impressive and we all got to know each other over dinner beforehand,” says Sharon, one of the Dream Team members.

Thank you to Waves II organisers for supporting Women for Change at Vivid Sydney.
