In 2018, Women for Change supported 24 young women to undertake tertiary studies. These women were the first graduates of Dr Kakenya Ntaiya’s school which opened 10 years ago in Kenya. A scholarship program also supported three students to come to Sydney, Australia to study.  In 2019 the second group of students also graduated and by end of 2020 Women for Change will have assisted to send 70 girls onto tertiary education.

Many of these students have now completed their first years of studies and the first group of students from 2018 will complete their courses in 2020. These first graduates have been  supported in their journey by Australian mentors.
