In August 2018, a group of 13 supporters, donors, and representatives visited Kenya on a 14-day tour led by the LBW Trust Chairman, David Vaux. The group was hosted by Dr. Kakenya Ntaiya and her dedicated team of staff in Nairobi and Enoosaen.

During the visit, the group heard from teachers, parents and the first and second cohort of students who are competing tertiary studies with the support of Women for Change/The LBW Trust. They all firmly expressed their gratitude for our work.

Parents, particularly fathers, spoke glowingly of their daughter’s achievements and thanked Women for Change and our supporters for the opportunities being provided to their daughters. They now realise the potential that female education has to transform the lives of their families and the community.
