Pat Price, an Australian teacher and director of the Heartland Academy in Nepal and the Karuna Private Educational Trust, will work with Women for Change in 2023 to provide college level education to a number of young women who currently do not have access to Tertiary education.  All educational activities will be supervised on site at Heartland Academy in Kathmandu and the focus will primarily be on young women from the Dalit caste group who normally struggle to gain access to educational opportunities.  Heartland Academy provides tuition, tutoring, pastoral care and career counselling.

Recognising the important of a holistic approach, Women for Change will also support the development of a centre for improving women’s health, both physical and psychological.
