Amazing Night of Inspiration

The LBW Trust hit a winner with the 13th Annual Trust Dinner on Saturday, 2 March 2019, at the Sydney Cricket Ground with guest of honour Mahela Jayawardene and LBW Alumnus Victor Chaitezvi who delivered a very motivational speech on his life change experience thanks to the support of the trust.

Attending the LBW Annual Dinner event, our students from Kenya – Linet, Peyian and Sharon – shared their courageous stories, of settling into a new city, country, university and learning about the Australian way of life and our inclusive and colourful culture. These young ladies have settled well with the assistance of our partners Urban Nest, and Campus Living, alongside our three university partners; UTS, University of Sydney and University of Western Sydney.  All girls are doing very well in their respective degrees and we compliment them and their entire year group back in Kenya for all their good progress across the first 6 months of their degrees.
