44 young Maasai women are now completing tertiary education in Kenya (41) and Sydney (3) with the support of Women for Change. They are breaking free from the harmful traditional paths of child marriage and female genital mutilation.

Thanks to the power of education they can follow their dreams.

They are the first high school graduates from the Kakenya Centre of Excellence in rural Kenya, a ground-breaking, empowering girl boarding school.  They will be the engineers, doctors, IT specialists, teachers and pharmacists of the future, bringing their skills and new opportunities back to support their communities and families. These girls are changing history thanks to the courage and vision of Dr Kakenya Ntaiya, and the support of Women for Change.

Each girl is receiving sponsorship via Women for Change to support their tertiary education thanks to the support our donors and supporters,

Our mission is to empower women through education. Through the Women for Change Scholarship Program, we are changing lives and working together to support women.
